To me RC5 is a challenge, not only to make it to number one, but to rally all the members of Sysopt to join the team! By looking at the active members on the other teams, they have something going – camaraderie! Sysopt has over 16,000 registered members, 700 of them are on the RC5 Team…FEWER than 150 are actively working on the project! The members of Sysopt that frequently post to the Forums consider Sysopt if not the greatest site on the web, at least one of the best! I read this daily! If Sysopt is so great of a place to get and receive help, why not help and make us great all around!

Some people have large numbers of machines or you only have one little computer at home, that would only crunch 500 blocks a day…it wouldn’t help! Bull$hit! IF 16,000 members all cracked only 500 blocks a day each…we would be doing a total 8 million blocks a day as a team! No other team has that kind of output! Think about it…there is strength in numbers!

I don’t want to leave my computer run all the time! You don’t have to, let it crunch RC5 while you’re “surfin” the web, reading posts at Sysopt, looking at “dirty pictures” EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!

Here’s a straight fact! Within the next 45 days, Team Beef Roast from Ars Technica will be passing us! They’ve been trying extremely hard, but the few of us that are on the “front lines” have been doing our best to stop them! People…this is WAR! The Old Wise Ones need you to help win this battle!

It won’t cost you anything! The client can be downloaded free! Technical support is free! Transferring blocks only takes a few seconds and can be done in the background while you’re doing something else, and if this isn’t enough…you stand the chance of winning $1,000! What are the odds, approximately 1:250,000. Hell, many of you spend a buck once-a-week to play the lotto…the odds? 1:several million!

Well Randy you guys talked me into cracking for team Sysopt...hope your happy ;^) So far I have a PII 450, PIII 500, PIII 650 and a PIII 800 (my friends machine). In a week I will be putting together a Amd 1333 mhz box for myself and making a server out of the 450. I know it isn't much but I'll do my bit for "The Team". Now if I can just talk my Dad into leaving his 1 Ghz Athlon on 24/7!
