ok i just moved my case from the ground to the desk. on the ground the temp was high 70 and low 80's ( in F) now that its on the desk its at 95, is that too high? does the fan on the cpu blow air onto the cpu or does it sucks air away from the cou, it just a basic home built comp with retailed pentium II 400.

Check the fans to make sure some they didn't get dicounected during the movement.

The CPU fan usually (some cheap ones don't) blow cool air onto the heat sink.

Also is your house hot (hot air rises), or was the case in the sun? Maybe the computer was in a cool place on the floor?

nah. Fans are for sissys and rabbid squirles! (in really inthusiastick sales voice) What you need is WATER COOLING! Yes with water cooling you get those low low fridge like temperatures your friends talk about! Water Cooling is great for the whole family! Little becky can do her home work on a cely 566 o/c'ed to 1Ghz! Timmy can invite his friends over to play their newest video game! Yes Water Cooling is that great! I know your probably saying "With all these great features I'm sure I can't afford it!". But fear not friend! With this special offer...ect ect lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
