Dr_Watson 04-09-2001, 03:40 AM basically it just means that in some point along the timeline of the last time you ran scandisk windodws crashed without being 'shut down' (like *eeeerrp* lockup, power button) ... which causes files that were in use by windows to be mis-reporting thier file allocation space, altering the ammount of 'free space' you have on the Hard disk... yes, just tell scandisk or norton disk doctor to fix the error... it won't hurt anything, and is actually a good idea... you can't defrag a hard disk with errors on it.
