I have hp 16mb edo 60 [4x32] RAM, whatever this is? I want to upgrade becuase I only have 32mb. It says inside to upgrade in pairs only! Any input on deals or ideas to purchase these pairs cheap? Is there any one who buys or trades RAM? It is an older 266.
If your board supports SDRAM, get it. Otherwise, you are talking about an EXPENSIVE proposition.

Go to http://www.crucial.com/ and type in your computer or mobo manufacturer and it's model number.
Buying SIMMS isn't a very good investment, IMHO. You can almost get a 256MB SDRAM DIMM for the price of a new 32MB EDO SIMM.
Use the link to Crucial.com to find out what kind of RAM your mobo will support. If you can use SDRAM DIMMS that total the amount of memory you were looking to upgrade to with the extra SIMMS, you'll find it will be alot cheaper, and will run alot faster too.
The easy way to find out is to open up the case and see if there is are any DIMM slots in the computer. DIMM slots are longer than SIMM slots. DIMM slots are about 6 inches long and have little levers on both ends to eject the DIMM.
