Radeon 9000 problem?

right, Whenver I try to run Mafia, lots of the time it will jsut minimise itself and stay tehre, and a reboot solves it usually. The same happens with delta force land warrior. And recently, when I run 3DMARK 2001, it stops after about 4 minutes, and says "the monitor went out of focus" even thought I used to run it fine. Now im having trouble with Black and white.

Im XP2100, WinXP home, 256 pc2100, and 128mb Radeon 9000. My monitor is a 17" Hansol, 0.24 dots per thingummy (whatever). im running comfortably at 1024x768x32. I can run lots of otehr games trouble free.

is my monitor borked? is it the gfx? or maybe the driver. Im using ATI driver 6.13.10.6102

This looks most like a driver issue..Is there no issuepage on the makers of those games? If not, using latest (official) drivers for your videocard may solve the problem. On a sidenote: ATi drivers are not known for their stability..
