I'm running a k6-2 450 at 550 right now with the stock heatsink/fan and two extra case fans blowing on it. had a few problems at first but then I upped the voltage to 2.7 and all is well. I'm getting black and white as soon as I get a new videocard. (Cant wait..but must.. only 2 more days..) Oh yea my temp is 31-35c during normal windows usage, rises to about 40c during intense 3d games like half life.

I'm not sure if this is going to help, but here's an address that will give a complete FIC503+rev1.1a manual with all your cpu settings, jumper settings and bios settings. http://home.zcu.cz/~simekm/va503.html
I've been running an AMD k6-3-450 at a comfortable 600mgz for several months now,and I'm using an Alpha heat sink and fan.
I was running a k6-2-350 at 400mgz using an oem fan and had some trouble depending on the heat and humidity.I do play alot of games on line,so that's the reason I overclock.

I tried to OC to 600 but it wouldent get past the PCI bus scan. (it was a bunch of blinking white squares really)

okay, with a Copper orb how much extra *oomph* could i get from my K6-2 350??
could i reach 400, or maybe 415MHz?

Would this give me a significant speed increase in "black and white"?

Thanks
(btw its urgent, i'm hostin a LAN on tuesday and if i order now the parts -Copper orb and BLorb - will be delivered by then.)
