I know this sounds silly but also make sure your monitor cable is attached properly to the card and the monitor because it could be loose. hvy gamer18 04-05-2001, 05:07 PM I am pretty sure its firm..It doesnt want to move anymore..and I got the monitor cable in...but the monitor says signal error and it goes offline yet my cpu runs..then when I switch it to my default monitor slot it works!! not sure whats up daverme 04-06-2001, 05:58 AM Please explain "default monitor slot" ????? HotRod9mm 04-06-2001, 07:27 AM Hvy What slot do you have the PCI card plugged into, I think some boards share slot 1 & 2 and that may be your problem? Also what mobo? If I remember correctly some mobo's don't supply enough voltage to run a VooDoo card. I know my FIC in the AGP slot would not run my 3000. Ck the mobo web site.... Hope this helps.... Mortis 04-06-2001, 10:15 AM Greetings... If your mobo has onboard video, you may have to re-arrange jumpers. Check your mobo's specs and diagram to see if this is an option and required... goodluck.
