Can I convert MP3's to some other form and then store them in a folder so as not to use so much disk space?

mp3 is pretty much the best storing format availabe. thou m$ claims that wma compresses better. I tried that and received similar filesizes. store them in a cd if your harddisk space doesn't allow more storing.

Yes I agree with muno, if your trying to save hdd space you can copy them to cd.

I dont think you will find any better method of reducing their size, mp3 does a pretty good job.
