I don't think it exists. Bleeding Edge 08-04-1999, 11:01 PM There was MSD. The dos based Microsoft Diagnostic utility. I haven't seen that in ages. I don't think fixes anything, you know? I think its just a report of your system. You run it from the dos prompt or safe mode prompt. Type msd and press enter. Its been awhile so i may have this wrong. If the command doesn't work, you can copy it from the Win95 CD. \OTHER\MSD folder to the COMMAND folder within your main Windows folder. Upon reboot, press F8 when you see the "Starting Win95" message and select the safe mode prompt. CVhange to the Command directory and type msd. NT has a windows version that works under 95 called WinMSD. You might be able to find this somewhere. GB 08-04-1999, 11:41 PM . I like it better than using msconfig, and in my humble experience, it works better, and more reliably. I have given msconfig instructions, and gone back later in same session, and it was as if i had never made any adjustments in the first place. Good Luck Mike P. SysOpt.com
