This is a TX Pro II M571 v7.0 board with 32mb PC100 SDRAM amd AMD k6-300 processor. Board is jumped to a 75mhz external clock speed, 2.2 core voltage and 4.0x internal clock multiplier. POST seems fine but when it tries to boot from the floppy it seems to just hang after the floppy says booting windows 9X (whatever version I try). Won't even boot from a DOS 6.2X floppy. Any ideas where to start looking. Please reply direct if you can since I need to get this thing up before my step daughter goes after my head!
thanks.

There are many things that can be causing a problem for you, on of which might be the 75mhz bus. I would suggest raising the core voltage to 2.3 or 2.4 and try again.
has it worked in the past? If so what was the configuration and what is different now?

The 300 should run 4.5 x 66. I have built quite a few on this board - With no problems... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
