I am having a problem with copying a CD to CD. I have a Acer CD-R, using CD Creator 4.1, it worked fine until I built a new machine and reinstalled OS and software. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

Which OS?
Have you updated the ASPI layer?
Check the updates at Adaptec (www.roxio.com)

My OS is ME but used it before, it worked fine.

Yes I have the same problem. I used to be able to copy directly from CD to CDR on an old K6-2 box with FIC 503+ motherboard (VIA chipset), but on my Athlon/FIC SD11 (AMD northbridge) it no longer worked. I have updated all drivers several times and rearranged the position(s)/designation(s) of the drives e.g. master/slave, IDE0/IDE1, etc. I was thinking it just has something to do with the way the AMD northbridge handles IDE. I have other T-Bird systems and it seems to work okay most of the time -but I'm using SCSI on those so it is hard to compare.
