Does anyone else here get motion sickness sometimes when playing FPS's?

I sometimes do and sometimes don't... it's weird.

reason... it's your brain that "thinks" that you are in motion, but!!! your "body" is still

so the effects Contradict each other, thus producing the effect of weirdo sickness, and revolting stomatch.

anyhow if you want to over come that Wear 3D glasses :t

Well, when they finally get some worthy VR goggles I'll wear them, otherwise no, because the 3D glasses right now just give the illusion of depth perception in your monitor, which would still do that weird contradictory thing you were talking about. When I put on VR goggles, however, when I move my head one way that's the way I'll be looking in game, so there won't be any contradiction. This should be much better.

The sad thing is, VR really isn't up to par with every thing else in gaming, and I wish some companies would step up and overcome that hurdle. :t

my dad is the same, i don't know how it can be fixed, its a real pain in the **** too, because i have no one in my family to play against.. they are all too ****, my dad would be good but the only games he can play are the ones where there is no 3d-rotational camera.. he even gets sick on Shogun: Total War.

I've mentioned this before ...I can't play most FPS games either, it started with Doom on the 32x (sega) and it still won't let up, I can play GTA III for half an hour (what a waste of cash), then I start to feel queasy so I have to quit.
Flight sims, sports\driving games and such I'm fine with. I hate not being able to take part in all the Online FPS games that everyone rants about. :(

I can go for about 3 hours then a headache hits and I have to stop for a bit. I get a tad bit dizzy, but enough to have to quit the game.

No. The only problems I have related to sitting at my desk for hours upon hours is:

1) carpal tunnel syndrome
2) impingements in shoulders
3) knots 'n cramps in every back muscle
4) remember Igor's posture?
5) no friends

As far as the 3d goggles thing: I had them on my ancient of days Asus Geforce 256 sdr 6600 deluxe. I did exactly what the reviews figured: I'd try them out for awhile, then pop them in the bottom drawer. It was cool while it lasted (SOF days :D ).

If I start to think about getting motion sickness in games, It happens. Usually nothing bad just a little head ach or get kinda dazed.

It doesn't happen much. Maybe once a month tops.
