As you know I have the P4S533 which supports up tp PC2700 DDR which I have....

What would happen if I installed:

GeIL PC3500 512MB 433MHz Fastest DDR



??? would I see a huge increase in performance, even if the mobo doesn't see it?

There is a great possibility that it might not even recognize the memory module that you propose to install! But you could certainly give it a try and let us know whether it worked or not.

I would carefully look at the specs on the memory module and look at the mobo manual to see if there is any possibility of damage from what you intend to experiment with. Anyways, I wish you luck on this attempt.:)
