I purchased an Antec case from Best Buy for $75 with tax.
3-5.25" bays
4-3.5" bays (one external for floppy)
300W power supply
1-extra exhaust fan space in rear by processor (no fan)
1-exhaust fan space in front (no fan, left it that way)

I replaced the power supply fan with a cooler master high volume fan and put another in the rear space. I'm also running a slot fan in one of the PCI slots.

I get a system temp at a steady 73 to 75 degrees this way.

The Antec case also has intake vents that run down the case right next to all the drives that seem to keep the drives pretty cool to with a steady flow of air, that's why I didn't put a fan in the front of the case, I figured that it would reduce the airflow around the drives if I did.

I need some help building my new system. I am planning on using a EPoX ep-8kta3 w/AMD 900mhz T-bird. I have looked at Enlight and Antec cases, but I am trying to build this with the least cost that I can. Does anyone have a cheep reliable place to buy a good case online? I am looking in the $50-$75 range? Do I have a chance of obtaining this?

Yes, I have the same Antec case from BestBuy.
Bought it with the $50 Chevy Tracker gift certificate program that was in steals n deals a little while back.

It's a nice case! Very quiet power supply, too. Lots of room to work, no sharp edges. I like it.

I'd like to suggest the enligh 7237. it's prety mice for the price. I know that mwave.com has a 250W, and 300W for about $50, and $65 respectively. Mine is the 300W, it has 4 5in bays, 3 3in bays with one hidden, already has one 80mm intake fan in the front and has room for one 80mm in the back, the PS is AMD certified with the intake from the bottom as specified by AMD. You have to remove the bezel before you can get into the sides, but that is becoming common-place anymore. The top is riveted on, so if your going to put in a fan there, do it before you put together the system. the side has a full-length, 3 or 4 inch wide grill for air circulation. medium quality construction, it won't fall apart but it can be dificult to get the sides off and on, and the slot covers are pop-outs, which usually denotes a less than high-quality case. But it's nice for the price http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Have a good day!!
