HELP WITH mIRC

Hi Guys, I am getting a DCC pending set cliebt to recieve transfer message while trying to download off mIRC. Anyone know what the problem is?

Someone may be trying to drop a "nasty" on your PC. I would refuse the transfer or disable DCC.

depends where are you downloading from, you have to be careful

if it's efnet. be very careful or you'll have to re-do your system, or if you are unfortunate, your hard drive, or other hardware.

I've seen viruses that can kill a hard drive in a split second, as well as some viruses that can mangle with your video cards, like overclocking them to the max, and ect, ect.



But the message for DCC is for you to say, yes I want to get the file, or No I don't want to get the file. If you have it set to auto accept, then you're screwed :) and if you have it set so that you won't accept any dcc requests, then the other party will tell you that it's still depending on your aproval.
