Hi there,
I will be installing a standard 12v psu fan I have into my case. However, the fan only has a 12v wire and ground wire, no rotation wire is attached.
Would I damage the motherboard or the fan if I only place the 2pin slot on the ground and 12v connectors, leaving the rotation (blue) connector uncovered?
I will be placing this slot on the PWR_FAN connector on the Asus A7V133 motherboard.
The connector supports cooling fans of 4.2W or less.
Thanks,
