I have a ibm deskstar 45gb, anyways, I installed win2k, and it will not boot after the installation, (no boot device found) I installed win98, still the same thing.

I checked the bios, everythign is set corectly, so I thougth I would repartrition completely, wipe the mbr, the drive just wont boot! (other drives boot fine, so I knmow its not the configuartion or the MB)

what can I do now? lowformat? it worked one time.

after you repartitioned, did you set the main partition (C:\) to be 'active'?
