Is mohaa spearhead an add-on or a separate game? I've been playing the demo for a few days and have been impressed. I don't have the original yet either, but if spearhead is an add-on, then I'm gonna go out soon and snatch it up. The multiplayer-demo have been brutal-laggy, hope it's the demo, I dl @ 4 megabits/sec/cable.

EA is calling it an expansion pack, and " Requires Medal of Honor Allied Assault™ to play " . The demo of coarse is beta , and it shows . We seem to get higher than normal pings here but gameplay is normal to fair, and the lag time seems due to when theres a higher number of players. Which is normal. It should be improved when the final version is out and they begin adding patches. All part of the process. The BIG maps are just great .. Making it more difficult on your memory:D And 12 new multiplayer levels is something to look forward to. All in all its a very a nice add-on, imho.

I'm liking this game alot. I'm going to have to get both soon, I'm getting a little sick of the demo versions. I play as MOTORHEAD.

The full version is a must. Your missin out on both the single player and online play. Search around for a used copy , you might get lucky and save a buck. I'll look for you in Spearhead ...:D

Used? Already? That would be sweet, but I could get MOHAA Allied Assault at Costco for $37.99... seems borderline-pricey, or does that sound about right? Should I just grab it? In the DEMO, I seem to ping at around 50-90 area, depending on traffic.

Thats a decent price, retail or online. You cant find it for less than $49 now where I live. Used? ya , I've scored software/games from those who bore easily and just have to have the latest of anything. Sometimes its something they didn't like or wasn't compatible and cant return it. Try Amazon.com for good used deals. Like I said you might get lucky. I wouldn't hold you breathe... :p
Sounds to me your getting good pings! You'll probably blow right thru the SP ,but its fun. Its the multipayer game play that really hooks ya. :r

Hmm, the cheapest on AMAZON.COM is $34... mite as well just buy it new. I find I'm constantly getting blasted because my mouse is WORTHLESS! Have any awesome gaming-mouse suggestions?? Man, I just can't compete with this p.o.s.

Hmmm.... thats a preference thing. Some like optical, some track, etc. I like an optical with a new pad . I'm always replacing the pad:p Balls just get to dirty to fast.
You might try experimenting with the mouse controls. The sensitivity setting and smoothing can help till you develope a steady hand. Speeding it up does'nt help.
Now , if I could just learn to put my fingers on the right keys......:D

I bought a $32 MS Wireless Optical Mouse yesterday... p.o.s., way too laggy. So today I grabbed a $20 Logitech MX300, much better and I'm keeping the MX300, with it's VERY precise and VERY noticable dual-optical technology. Sweet. I also finally grabbed the MOHAA Allied Assault. Just like on the demo, most servers are filled with bloody mayhem. :r .
