Is it hard to replace a power supply?

I am considering switching my 250W to a 300W because I am running a 1 GHz T-Bird. I know AMD recommends a 300W.

Are there any precautionary measures that need to be done? Barring the obvious, of course. Or is it as simple as swapping the power supplies and plugging it in?

yah its very simple. make sure that the power supply will connect to the motherboard. some power supplies have funky little connectors. unplug the old and plug in the new. done deal
