Problem with LOTR

Got a wierd problem with LOTR, the game plays and boots fine and all, intro scene looks gorgeous, then during the ingame intro while gandolf is talking and stuff, and after where you are actually playing the game goes to graphical hell (check picture) and the audio speeds up for a second and it sounds like the chipmunks....... It never straightens itself out...... I've tried all video options on the game, different resolutions, anti aliasing, graphic quality ect ect......... It can't be my pc I dont' think here's my specs
2.0ghz p4
512mb ram
Ti4400

this is the only game I've got troubles with........ any clue? Check the picture to see what i mean by graphical hell..........if needed I can post a couple more pics......

Do you have the latest drivers for your videocard? There's probably lots of other stuff it is, but that came to mind.

yeah i've got the newest detonators as they are the ones that run the best on my machine, I've got plenty of other games on my computer and not a single one has a graphical glitch.:(

Have you downloaded the LOTR patch yet? Gandalf had no head when I ran it cause of AA, but then after patch it was fine.;) The patch liss all kindsa bugs it fixed. Running beutifull here.

The only prob I have is the damned black riders keep catching me. Throw rocks etc. still no go. About to throw the game outta the winder.

Yeah it's wierd I've tried running it without the patch and with the patch, also installed it twice..... still no go.... the patch actually made it a wee bit worse (audio wise) so i'm gonna give it one more shot if not it's uninstall and forget.

Well I got past that part of game and have it nearly beat in the same night. Wait till ya get to the dwarfs mine...bug central and its all due to the 3rd party point of view. If your in the 3rd person view its all stupid, the walls block out your view and your angles are stupid where you are looking at the ceiling when getting attacked. Really annoying. But in the first person view (press F) It runs like a dream no glitches. They have alotta work to do on this game yet Im affraid. Anyone want to buy it? Gonna have it beat tonight....hehe.;)

Yow, that is bad. It looks like the nvidia camelion demo and how it turns to silver. If its any help to ya. I get strange stuff like that too, missing heads etc. Unless I set the mip map and etc. detail levels to high quality. At performance or anywhere in between it goes all stupid. try setting it to high qualtiy everything escept AA let that at 2x nd try it. With AA off it also runs stupid for me. SO its AA 2x and high quality everything or no go. May help ya, may not.

I would like to know how all the review sites forgot to mention the terrible bugs the game has. I mean you cant tell me with all the reviews not one of their test systems didnt show these weird problems. We both got very popular cards here.:mad:
