Witch-Talon 11-11-2002, 04:51 PM http://store.yahoo.com/buyaib/atidevmoniir.html Witch-Talon 11-11-2002, 04:52 PM Originally posted by Witch-Talon http://store.yahoo.com/buyaib/atidevmoniir.html My finace fillianly agreed to let me overclock the Video card but not CPU :) So I wanna the best ATI 8500 for her. Don't need AIW. If you know where I can get the best 8500 let me know. NDD 11-11-2002, 06:29 PM It's down there in little letters :p ATI Radeon 8500 LE 128MB DDR CRT/TVout OEM ***FREE SHIPPING*** Its clock speeds should be 250/250. $1500-P4 gamer 11-11-2002, 09:37 PM Heh, not easy to answer really. As far as original with 3.3 no it was 3.6 hynix THEN 3.3ns hynix. Both clocked at 275mhz on the card but spec on 3.3ns is 300mhz. Now the bios on the 3.3ns versions cas timings are more agresive than the 3.6ns this is why its not run at 300mhz. This is from a article in rage3d I read. Just wanted to note that. Anyhow, the 3rd party ones are supposed to be 250/230...The "Built By" ati I got is 250/275 3.3ns hynix and runs 275/275 no prob. Its only a 10% core oclock and I think its just a 275 underclocked in bios anyhow to fill a gap in the market. So theres the dif. in built by and not. Built by you are garunteed a decent spec and fast high quality vid mem! If it is real built by ati they can supply you with P/N #'s of the pcb. These you can check at ati, if your not sure where I'll get ya the link. If they dont give you the PN#'s dont take the chance IMHO. Here is the one I bought. It is the real ati low,low price and they will give you the #'s off the card to verify. One year warrenty and dang fast processing, I was really impressed. Check it out. This is the 250/275 and rock solid at 275/275 You cant beat it for the price. http://store.yahoo.com/pcmemory-stores/atirad85ddr61.html :t Witch-Talon 11-11-2002, 10:52 PM Thanks that card seem like a good deal for an LE. Cheaper than Newegg too. I would like the link for the P/N # thing. Originally posted by $1500-P4 gamer Heh, not easy to answer really. Just get the #'s from them, type em in there and it will verify if its a real ati and tell ya alittle about the card. You'll know if its real if PN# starts with 102 -----------. But type it in anyhow to make sure, never know if someone is relabling them. :t Witch-Talon 11-12-2002, 04:33 AM Cool! :t I'm wondering how can I find whats the Video cad's memory "ns" thing? Alot site dont show that. Originally posted by $1500-P4 gamer http://apps.ati.com/102lookup/index.asp There you go. If its a newer ati then 3.3ns hynix with agresive timings. If its one of the earlier then it will be the 3.6ns. Either way if its built by ati 8500 it will def. be hynix which is great mem.;) SysOpt.com
