Good boards, but expensive. You could get the same features on a cheaper board, from like Epox, Asus, MSI so on and so forth.
Why not go for a KT333 or KT400? The 266 is out of date.IMHO:t

this is true have looked at the 333 is it a must do or will the 266a be ok or is it going to be hard later to up date it? will the games demand it later on?

The dragon is a good board i own one... It has great overclocking features for FSB and also it had on board network card... sound ... raid... its an great board kinda step price but SOYO makes great boards... I prefer them.. before the dragon i had a shuttle ak31 which i was over clocking and the board chipset smoked its self out odd huh? Anyways i got atleast 1k high on 3d mark with the same compnets and clock speed.. great board for games.. although i wouldnt use the onboard sound because some times the sound likes to chop up a little bit in peak times in some older 3d games because a lot of strees on the board and stuff i guess i put a sb live in here and its a very good board...
athlon xp 1700
512 ddr
radeon 8500

If you want a pentium system, go with an intel chipset. If its AMD get a via chipset.
Take a look here. These motherboards are for AMD procs.
