yeah your best bet would to go local. you will be paying some bucks to ship that thing out to you. plus most local business have very nice cases with pws in them for about 50 bucks or below

These days, if there is a computer show near, you might be able to pick up a nice AT case w/power supply for about $20. The inexpensive cases these days don't have cut-your-hand interiors. They are actually smooth. Built of lighter materials. But work nonetheless.

Fry's has a decent case for 40 bucks. Or if you don't mind paying a few extra bucks, pick up an enlight 7237 w/250 PS from www.axiontech.com (http://www.axiontech.com) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

be sure to check the rating, some of the company they ship it really bad and the front bevel end up getting cracked. however please do not be tempted to purchase the cheapiest due to crappy power supply or bad design for thermal solution

I've bought about half a dozen from computer geeks and have been pleased so far.

The latest edition of ATX cases are really nice, I bought a AT case in Dec that was super fine..

Here's a link to their cases,

if your just giving it away check small local shops for used case's. there is a place i go to i can get them for $5. (no power supply.) $10 for a power supply.
so it's worth looking in to. an atx case is another story.

Ham (Amateur) Radio ops are into computers, big time. We have 'ham fests' quite often, and older computer stuff can be bought quite reasonable. I bought a really nice AT mid tower case last year for 20 bucks, with a 300 watt supply.

Check around your area and see if you can locate some of these guys...they will be able to point you to the local cheap swap shops where you may find a good bargain
