Hey, I posted a while back about Empire Earth and my Radeon8500 and how the game was un-playable, you and the others narrowed it down to the problem being windows xp, recently i formatted and installed win2k, and still the game is un-playable, its quite funny that I can run any other game just fiine but for some unknown reason EE is solid lag, I've completely given up on this game, looks like I wasn't meant to play it

Yikes, that's is but so Totally strange, so many people, so many OS and some many ATI and you are the only one with this strange phenomenon :x

but have you tried it in Win98 as i suggested?

Win2k wont make much of a difference since it's the same core where WinXP came from

just set up a small partition for Win98, and run it there, i can almost guarantee that it'll run well for you in Win98

As for me
it works good in all 98/2K/XP, but Linux, it's a beach to set it up to run properly with Sound in linux :D

but it works perfectly in 98/2K and XP
no lag no slow downs

agerage FPS is around 40 with all the eye candy to the maximum
