I have a new Atrend Atc5010m with no documentation. The Manuals I find online ALL are missing pages A,B, and C which list connectors and pin outs for them. No drivers either. I am hoping to find those on the net(what I have found will not download completly, video driver file is huge and times out)
Specifically, I can not get the ps2 mouse to work with any standard connectors.
Worse, the USB power pins are not identified. If I guess, I will be wrong. can anyone with this board look at the usb connector in their book and tell me the pin assignments?
Or other advise if possible.
Thanks a lot.

OK no help yet.
Can anyone tell me if I will fry the board by guessing at the connection of the USB header with USB plugs??
Or would I just be better off to buy a PCI USB port add on card and give up on the one on the Mobo??
Thanks

On the USB connectors, you should at least measure where +5V and ground are. Data+ and Data-, when wrong, are much less likely to do damage than having the power pin mixed up with one of them.
Either way, use an inexpensive peripheral for your first try - a **** mouse or something.

Thanks for the post.
Next question is the +5 v always present on the power pin on the mother board? Also, what are the odds that multiple pins will show continuity to ground in the usb array?
Is an incorrect hook up more likely to fry the device than the motherboard.
Thanks again.

Well since most desktop mainboards are 4-layer (with all the data traces running on the two outer layers), it should be rather obvious which pins carry power/ground and which do the data. Just look at it. Data - tiny traces. Ground and power usually connect to wider traces or even large areas.
So once you identified which pins are power, use a voltage meter to find out which is ground and which is +5, and then you're set.
