I've just flashed my Bios so I could use Aus C.O.P as I wanted to install an old, but better CPU fan onto my heatsink (just in case it died on me). Everything went well and I've now got C.O.P running, but my question is how do you set at what temperature the motherboard shuts everything down? I looked around for a while, but couldn't find anything.
Also I've always wanted to use Asus MyLogo because I'm really into personalisation etc., but don't quite understand how to use it. When run it ask you to point to the original BIOS file,, does this mean you have to re-flash your BIOS every time you want to change the picture?

Check page 77 of the manual... looks like you set the shut down temp there, and turn on "Power Temperature."

no that just monitors your current temperatures and RPM's for you, but doesnt have anything you can change yourself. In the pic POWER temp is N/A because they must have a PSU attached which doesnt send the temp to the mobo

When you set the upper limit for your cpu (per the illustration in the manual) doesn't that involve COP? On my EPoX if I exceed the upper limit that I set, I can have the mobo shut everything down. Maybe try sending an email to Asus tech support asking for clarification?

fini...
When you hear back from Asus, please pass along info... now you've got me curious. I just built a pc for a relative using the A7V333, but didn't really pay attention to COP because she would never overclock her pc... wouldn't even know what that was. I did, however, set the upper temp limit for the cpu in BIOS.
Thanks,
