1. give the amds the pc1066 rdram isht
2. add a equivlent of a math coprocesser to help wit the
FPU scores (http://www.sharkyextreme.com/hardware/cpu/article.php/3261_1474081__4)

1. What for ? AMD can use dual PC400 nForce2 platform, but it doesn't have enough bandwidth (Athlon XP 333MHz FSB = 2.7GB/s, dual PC333 = 5.3GB/s). Already issued in Hammer K8 series, 800MHz FSB should be enough for everything ;) :)
2. It's not a FPU problem, it's the P4's SSE2 optimization. As well issued in Hammer K8 series, Hammer got SSE2 :)

Oh yea, my P4 1.5 outbenches Intels P4 1.5gig on ALL benches apps and games so whats the point???. What do you think of that. Truely guys this mine is better stuff is childish....Go with what you can afford, go with what you like. Heck go with the nicest add you read! True, if everyone had that attitude, semiconductor companies would be very, very rich... constant upgrades and OCs demand good accopmanying hardware.... I've been happy with my XP 1800+ and don't plan on upgrading in a while. Sure, there's something 2x as fast out there already, heck 3x, but in this case it's best to take a wife's or gf's attitude: WHO CARES... I can do whatever I want on my machine, and I want to keep it for at least 4 years. I agree that this constant keeping up with the joneses bull---- is child's play. Having the quote "biggest battleship" won't matter in a few weeks because it'll already be replaced by something better. Who cares. Most games will run on a P3 1GHz with 256MB of "inferior" PC133 (to quote THG) and a ti 4200, and certainly office productivity will not be impeded by it.

Cmon, a 486dx can still do email, albeit sluggishly...
