I installed everything a ECS Group, P4S5A/DX Mobo with Intel Pentium 4 2.80 Ghz 533Mhz Bus 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM, and I boot up and my BIOS read my CPU running at 2.09 Ghz Instead of 2.80 so then I go into BIOS and Try to Change the CPU Frequency To 133 and the DRAM Frequency to 133 and, then I restarted 133/133 and it said it was now running at 2.80 Ghz but when I get to desktop it automatically reboots again or gives me a blue screen im running Windows XP I flashed my BIOS with latest updates aswell I cant seem to find what is the problem! plz help

Hello
Can your motherboard support up to 2.8ghz?
what is the maximum multiplier supported by your motherboard?
I am using a Ecs motherboard too. It supports only upto 2.4ghz.

Does the ram you purchased support 133mHz bus? I know you purchased PC2100... can you try another stick from somewhere? Also, double check your cpu's vcore setting. If the multiplier wasn't supported, it is very unlikely you would get beyond POST.
Good luck,
