Lord of the Rings "the fellowship fo the ring"

Anyone get it yet? I did, great animation and cutscenes. Kinda a legend of zelda theme going about it with the way you interact. I like it! Anyone beat it yet or even have it other than me??? Warning minimal 32mb vid mem to all you V3 users...I just had to buy it being a big tolken fan myself. love the books but a little long they are. Anyhow a review site said that the co. that helped make the game is the only ones with reference to the original tolken books as they own the rights. Other games will have to be based off the movie not the books. Also they got 10 of the best experts in the lord of the rings saga to help assist on key charictors and points of the book that were cut out alltogether in the movie. I myself noticed several missing charictors in the movie, how are they gonna pull off part2? They are missing stuff that leads to the second half. So as they said one thing mising in part1 equates to 20 things cutout in part2. The game is supposed to have ALL charictors found in the books. Any opinions on the game etc.:t

I'm not sure when it was released here but its at wallmart cheap, well $38.00 cheap. Anyhow system specs are......

Need more ram like pc1066 samsung and 512mb of it. A 1.8A cpu then I'll be happy. Cpu and lack of mem is holding me back but it runs real nice none the less. Gots all the eye candy on.:x

i'm limited to 120 gig, the remaming 40gig seems to be only accessible for Linux and Win98

stupid WinXP/2K has some serious issues with drive over 120 gig :rolleyes:

it just corrupted some files again last nite
and have to re-install stuff

i wonder if MS has any drivers to fix that

and is so annoying that only happens in 2k and XP

and anyways, yeah so back to the game, i got it so i can check it out before i decide to keep it or not, i myself i'm not the RPG kind, but my wifey is, so i'll see if it's good enough

from the TV commercials it looks exactely like the movie, and that's what she wants

and the graphics are nice from what've seen so far
