I use WinXp and I install and uninstall a lot of softwares, now my Windows lost a function called hibernate (tab hibernate on shutdown menu is hided). Why? Thanks.

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Power Options->Hibernate tab->Enable.

If it's not there

then the Mobo does not support the Feature, Or APM was not enabled at the BIOS during WinXP install
