My original link no longer works but the file is back up on Microsofts site.(Link Above)
I have been using IE6 now for 5 days and can say it's working very well, seems very quick and no lock ups so far.

I can't say it was really buggy during the time I used IE6 beta several weeks ago. I tested the update version intended for WinXP users, but I installed the package onto Win2K without any probs. I noted a slight performance increase, and definitely improved stability. Only prob I noted was the lack of full compatibility with some advanced cascading style sheet operations. Otherwise, I thought it was a decent browser.

I've been using it without any problems. The only real difference I appreciate is automatic image resizing to fit the window. It then has a button appear on the image to display it full size. Also, if you hover over an image, it gives you buttons to save, print, or e-mail the image...as well as a button to open up the my pictures folder.

can it be uninstalled if you dont like it???
I think it's pretty good... quicker at least. My only complaint is that it's not yet supported by Yahoo Companion, which I use as a portal to everywhere. I'm relegated to typing in URLs again http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

File appears to be gone/removed now. Anyone still able to get it?
just grab it from the MS IE6 public beta page. It's the same version:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/preview/default.asp
I just uninstalled it with no problems. It reverted back to my IE5 SP2 and it's working fine. I just couldn't stand not having Yahoo Companion.

Helloooo, does anybody know if it can run on win nt 4.
Helloooo...
Internet Explorer 6 is a set of core technologies in Windows XP. It provides a rich online experience and a new way of browsing the Internet for users of Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and Windows 2000 Professional.
This is directly off of Microsoft's IE6 Public Preview page, to which you'll find a link above. Give it a shot.

i've been using version 6 for about 5-8 days now.
After i installed.... i saw noticable difference in my browsing speed with cable.
Also it's never crashed on me... not gave any incompatibility issues.... seems like more stable thatn 5.5
I like it
