Who has a TV-Capture card?
I mean a card so you can watch TV on your PC.
(Like Hauppauge WinTV etc.)

I have the Hauppauge WinTV Radio

I've got a Marvel G400 - can't ask for more:

TV In/Out
Hardware MJPEG Codec
Dual Head (Only TV as secondary monitor)

...And loads of really neat features

I have the Pinnacle TV Studio Pro card.

I don't use it too much, anymore, except to record stuff off the tv or when I am bored.

I have a basic Hauppauge WinTV card.

It was a neat toy at first, now I don't use it all that much. But it's still a great convenience to have a television right here at my fingertips whenever I want to turn it on and flip through the channels.

Hey, i've always wondered about the quality of the picture those things have? I've never had any experience with them. How does it relate to the quality on the TV, or the quality of DVD(on PC). I'm pretty sure my computer could handle it with no problem, I just build it. 1 ghZ t-bird, 256 RAM, geforece2 GTS 23 MB vid.(creative labs annihlator 2). I think i'm gonna have to go the the store and find a computer that has one in it, or ask around about it./

All In Wonder Radeon here, this thing rocks!
I replaced a Voodoo 3500,I thought it was
pretty good but not even in the same league
as the Radeon.

I am currently using a WinTV TV/FM Stereo card. Not the best solution, but I picked it up at OfficeMax for an almost give me price a few months ago.

For most new builds or upgrades, I generally use Pinnacle System's line of TV-oriented products. Pinnacle offers excellent drivers with superb stability, plus usually include a software bundle with several good TV/media capture utilities.

I generally prefer to stay away from all-in-one type cards. This way I can easily upgrade my video card without having to pay the extra expense for a new TV/capture card or another costly all-in-one solution.

Catch ya' later,
