I'm lost here, what am i supposed to do in this game? I purchased it because i liked the second one.
What do i have to do, just kill the guys that are in each tier and then what?:t

Quake III isn't like the other 2...the third game was made primarily as a multiplayer game, while the first two had traditional single-player campaigns with different levels filled with assorted baddies.

The QIII single-player is just a simulation of what multiplayer is like when you play it online against others. :r

Quake 3 Rocks .. although there are only two real weapons worth using in it, the Rocket Launcher and the Railgun... and maybe the plasma rifle... oh and of course the BFG when you find it :x

I wish Q3 had a single player game like Q2. Multiplayer is great, to be sure, but they threw out the baby with the bathwater when they neglected a single player adventure.

Quake 2 SP was panned on a critical level, but the Mp was the badgers nadger's hence - ID just stuck with what they had been told they were good at i guess instead of trying to better themselves:(... still q3 is grrrr-eat :x
