Im trying to help a friend out with a small office network there are 4 computers 2 win 98se 1 win xp 1 win2k. The office shares 2 printers 1 hp2200dn connected directly to a linksys router befsr81b assigned to dhcp and connect to the internet (fdsl). The whole office gets disconnected from the lan when they use their secure software to connect to the main office which they need to use and they cant see any other computers or print unless they restart their computers .I have no idea on how to get around this
any suggestions?
thx

how does the secure software establish the connection with the remote network?

I'm thinking maybe it reassigns the IP addresses, or maybe uses a different set of usernames and passwords?

Maybe you could try and coincide your local configuration the match the remote network?
