i saw somewhere that the leadtec nforce 2 was just recently released in japan.

i think www.amdboard.com has new updates on it

prolly be here in month or so. Reviews on it so far though say that it realy only performs at it best with the 2700+ or greater CPUs and those arent out yet.

Yeah, I plan on getting the XP 2800 or maybe 2700 if I just can't wait anymore... the 2700 will be here mid November I believe or maybe last part of Nov.

I'm upgrading my comp for SWG, which by most estimates, will come out in Feb of 2003.

Should I wait even more for the prices to go down? I bet by Jan of 2003 the 2700 / 2800 prices will be down a bit more.

SWG is Star Wars Galaxies, a mmorpg (massively multi-player online role playing game).

I still don't know anyone selling the Nforce 2 mobo yet, and it's now Nov. 7th. Anyone able to help?

yeah... that StarWars online you need to pay subscription fee, on top of the $80 for the game

not worth it

I go tired of waiting for nforce2, so I bought a K7S5A sis745 mobo and XP 1600+. Now I'll probably wait for the hammer.

Allgamer, SWG isn't $80, it's $59.95 at Electronics Boutique. I've played mmorpg's for over 3 years now, I do make an income, and although I'm not rich by a long shot, $12.95 / month is still nothing.

If you think it's not worth it, that's your opinion, not mine. :)

Omega31, I too couldn't wait for the Nforce2 or the XP 2700, so I just got the new Epox 8k9A2+ and an XP 2400.
