I'm running Windows 2000 Pro.

I've often seen where one can create emergency bootable disks by going to the microsoft website and dloading the small program which helps you create these disks. The problem is that you first need to go to another website to get software to do this and the other problem is that you needs four floppy disks to do this.

Does anyone know how to create an emergency bootable disk on a CD for Windows 2000 Pro?

The Windows 2000 CD is bootable. Those setup floppies are for people who have PC's that can't boot to the CD-ROM drive.

I still use the floppy because I am to lazy to turn on CD boot because it slows down my boot up because it shearchs the whole cd that i have in my CDRW my CDROM and my DVD it takes ages... about 10-15 secs.. i turn it on boot form floppy it makes a grunt and goes on

Much more reliable than floppy's which seem to be prones to always gettin IO errors and curroptiuons at the most innapropriate times
