I use the Tiny Firewall in conjunction with BlackIce Defender and haven't had any conflicts or problems.
I set the firewall to Maximum Security with BID set to Paranoid and haven't had any problems or conflicts... after installation, just run every application you have which requires internet access, give each one permission when asked (make sure the set rules box is checked when each permission warning comes up) and you're all set. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
