I just installed SETI on my dad's computer, so I now have 2 running it. For some freakish reason, there are like 5 instances of the command line running. When I end them, they just start up again. Why? I don't think I need more than 1 running at once.(I'm running SetiHide)

that happens often when in seti hide you have caches that are flushing/fetching. check to see if they are.

Check the cache. You probably do have multiple wu's going.
Make a note of the caches, go into explorer where the cache folders are, delete contents of the active caches, leaving the cache with highest percentage done.
Note: When counting cache folders Cache_0 is Cache_1, Cache_1 is Cache_2, etc.
