ok, i still debating about the flashing of this card (gf2 pro). my firend has a gf3 ti and flashed his bios and still works great if not even better.

my ? is do i have to use a bios made for my card? or can i use one made for like say a gf3 or gf4?

Correct me if i'm wrong. I think you have to get a bios that was made for the card that you have.:t

You should get a bios that was made for the card. With that said, you can take a chance and try a generic bios. But you must make sure you know which tv-out chip your particular card has. Brooktree (Conexant), Chrontel, or Philips. Or if you don't have tv-out, try the tv-out version. You are doing this at your own risk. Keep that in mind. If you do not wish to risk rendering your vid card unusable, do not flash the bios.

As has been said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
