running a tbird 1.4 @ 40c idle with a stock heatsink and a 60mm coolermaster fan.(plus a side case fan blowing at cpu)
Would my cpu temps be reduced by much if i fitted a volcano 7+ H/S, fan and arctic silver (and more importantly noise)
Would it be worth the effort and bucks.
OH, one more thing ,will the vol 7+ fit on the abit KT7A-raid mobo

i know my temps are ok ,but is the vol 7+ quiet and will it lower my temps significantly (I may o/clock in the future):t

The Volcano should be pretty quiet, on the low speed setting. I think your temps would stay about the same. Unless you set the fan on high.
I have the Volcano 7 not the plus. And it keeps my temps in the 40c range on full load. By the way i have the Athlon 1.33 overclocked to 1.48.
