Besides using google.com what other methods or websites are useful to find information? Information that is not too broad like what was the score for last nights NBA game.

Jakk, do you mean pferret??? Which is the only thing that I found on c-net. HERE (http://download.com.com/3000-2064-8004468.html?tag=lst-0-1) is the direct link.
Does this really work. Cause according to 2 people it sucked.

Use your favorites folder and create areas of interest into separate folders. Create another folder for saving websites off line with lots of data. Save every program and driver you ever download that work. Dump the ones that don't. Save search results in a temp folder for anything you are currently researching. Remember, no single source in your search is ever complete. The web is dynamic and as such, links to the best information, can easily get lost in a blackhole. I still use links to manage information but finally realized that saving the best stuff to a harddrive was faster and made better use of the computer in what it does best; store and retrieve information.

HERE (http://www.infopeople.org/search/tools.html) is a link to a good place to start. Happy surfing. :)

Checkout the Search tools link.

I use "Solway's Internet Search" engine. It's fast and simple to use...no annoying pop-up ads. I'll let you decide it for yourself. You can download it at: http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/
