Hi,
This is a simple question:
Can I put a 256 DDR PC-333 to my moBo that supports only PC-266???
It will run at 266, right???
And if so, it will perform as the 266????
I am thinking for further upgrades.
Thanks

Yah - it will work at 266MHz. The upside is that you'll have more headroom for overclocking. :)

More overclocking of the fsb, or more aggressive memory timings at 266, your choice. :)

Wise choice ;) - for the negligible price difference (here in the UK @ least) you may as well for the extra OC room
