Had Suse Linux ver. 2.4.18-4G loaded wouldn't run. Set it all back to windows with the recover disk. Changed out my cyber keyboard with a standard keyboard as I figured this was a problem. The mouse (PS2) didn't work at all. The keyboard only worked sporadically and not all functions. Installed a second hard drive (4GB) to run Linux. Haven't done the install yet as I don't want to have to go thru all the recovery again for windows. This is the sytem I'm using for it:
Compaq 166Mhz w/ MMX, Win98se, 2.1GB HDD, 4GB HDD, 56MB SDRAM, 16X CDROM, Floppy drive, 14" monitor, onboard sound card, onboard graphics card, 2 USB ports, 33.6 Compaq modem.
I know the memory should be up to 64MB. I even tried getting my USB optical wheelmouse to work and it wouldn't. It may not be supported with this version of Linux.
Just wondering if I missed something in the install or it was just the hardware I used that was not supported properly.
