I assumed they can because they use different IRQs... but what about jumper settings and such? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!

Yep. If you can get the scsi card installed then you can have Scsi and IDE in the same box and they will co-exist just fine

If my SCSI drive is C: ... do I have to set the IDE drive's jumper to slave ? What should it be?

RH, Nope..Dont have to change athing on the IDE drives.

oooops, With the addition of a HD shouldnt cause blue screens UNLESS there is a hardware conflict or data corruption when that drive is accessed.

Both I would suggest reading some of the info on scsi drives and such to gain a better knowledge as most of your questions will be answered in the documentation http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Some bios don't like to boot to scsi with an ide others its is as easy as setting the bios to boot to scsi first

This interests me also......we've got a system running W2k Adv. Server using a 10 gig SCSI ........I tried adding a 20 gig IDE (for back-ups) as master on one of the IDE channels and the system started "blue screening"..... I'll stay tuned.........
