Hi I have a new albratron ti4200xp that will not work in 3D every time I try to start a game my system locks up and I have to power fail it. I check the best that I know how all the setting they seam right. Maybe I just got a bad card from Newegg. I have not overclocked this card or my system. My system is:

MS-6366 with VIA chipset
PIII 1.0 MHZ
256 PC-2100
albatron ti4200xp 128mem
2 HD
2CD
500 wat power supply:( :(

I might have something to do with agp slot voltage setting or something. What game is it?

I would suspect a goofy video card.

here's something simple to track down what could be the culprint of the problem

remove
sound cards
nic cards
modems
etc

only run with the Video card and of course your HDD

no FDD

and see if your games works just with that basic stuff

Yes .check ur agp voltage in Bios and it may in 3d if ur agp bus is set to 1\1 wish will mean that its runnig at 1\1 = 100mhz or 133mhz

Kind of same thing happen when I try to install a seagate baracuda 4 40gb on my father's celeron 533mhz mobo. The mobo would not regonize the big 40gb drive and I had to set hd to 32gb.

Thank you all for your reply's. I have check my bios and can"t change the voltagr setting on this card MSI pro266 Master, if anyone has this mother board and is running a Albatron t1422xp please let me know. If you can change the agp slot voltage. My MB. is only 6 months old. Had to buy it when my BE6-2 went ( No computer durning the week) I did try to overclock it to see what would happen I did not change the core but set the memory to 365mhz it lock up had to reboot. I think BipolarBill is right a bad video card. Newegg gave me a RMA# so I return it , now waiting for a replacement.Thank again guys
