Well, I installed a new k7s5a motherboard, but now the reset button, and none of the LED lights work. I know there are those connectors, and I think I messed them up somehow, I looked in the manual, but it doesn't really explain where to connect each specific connector. Any help would be appreciated.

Another thing, when I go into my BIOS and look at the Hardware Monitor, it says my SYSTEM Fan Speed is running at 0 RPM. Is there a connector for that I missed too

1. Look here:

2. The system fan is whatever you plug into the motherboard down by the case connectors. I don't recommend using it though - if the fan seizes up, it can take the whole board out.

Doesn't really help me:(

Before the computer was actually able to boot, just with no reset button or LED's. Now I went and got the real manual from ECS and put them in the correct way and it won't boot at all. Is there a certain direction I have to put them in, like the words have to face a certain way?

The wires for the connectors go in this order color wise - Yellow/white(HDD LED), green/white(POWER LED, 3 connectors, but only 2 wires), red/white(RESET SW), black/white(POWER SW).

The FP1 has 9 pin slots on it like this.

12
34
56
78
9

Could you tell me which color goes in which pin #. Maybe I'm just blind....

Also, you said something about prying open somehing and reversed polarity. Could you explain?

Just look closely at the power LED connector. It's two wires in a 3-wire harness (middle is empty). Move the red/green wire to the middle. There's a tiny flap on the backside. Pry it up and pull the wire out.

Here's your diagram:

12
34
56
78
9

Pin 1 is toward the top and is positive.

HDD LED goes to 1-3 with black to TOP (reversed polarity)
PWR LED goes to 2-4 with black on bottom
Reset goes to 5-7 black on bottom
Power Button goes to 6-8 with black on bottom

You can test the board by shorting the poweer button pins with a screwdriver.

All labeled sides except HDD go toward the edge.

Wow. Someone linked to my rant. )-|

Listen to Da Man! He's built many a system using this same board, so he knows what he's talking about.
