20-25 seconds... and the search function doesn't work 90% of the time.
This new server sucks!
(And either my questions keep getting harder or people here are less likely to help)

...your loosing points in my book!

A computer-optimization-website with computerproblems that is almost redicolous.

I don't know from a new server, I just know it's taking waaaaaaaay longer to move around within SysOpt.

With that said, I still think it's a great service. System Optimization? For "the seniors" out there who believe this site is cr_p, while you may not need the input, I know its helped me quite a bit. Would I like it to be as quick as it was? You bet! But, when I've got a problem that needs an answer, it few and far between when I can't get it here.

It took me 30 second to get to the reply page after hitting the reply button. Good thing I have another computer to read other posts while waiting!

I posted about this in Sysopt.community.

Same deal here. It takes a full minute if I'm lucky, usually at least two minuts.

Oh and the search function has barely worked for me at all over the past year or so. Only lately has it started working somewhat.

As I posted in community, the problem has been the spellchecker. Their server is down and it waits until it times out before displaying the page.

Of course, the prime and fed internet.com ads server just went down again. So not only will POSTING be slow, but DISPLAYING as well.

Have fun. :-/

Starting a few days ago, I noticed that it was taking 10-15 seconds to access either the Post New Topic and/or Post Reply areas of SysOpt. I am unaware of any problems with my PC or my cable service. Both seem to be functioning normally. Any ideas on what I can check for? Or, have there been changes in SysOpt programing?

10-15 second??? I'd love to be getting that.

Earlier today I timed it at 48 seconds from the time I clicked on "Reply" to the time the reply page loaded... this one took 52. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

Note the lack of a spellcheck button.

Scott disabled the spell-check option, and the ads server came back up. Everything should be fairly normal, speed-wise.

Looks like it's doing better, took 1 sec.
One little thing though, when I hit reply, the screen doesn't fully load, I have to hit refresh for the whole screen to come up. This happenned with the sysopt homepage too.

Yeah, I guess I take SysOpt for granted. It's too easy to forget about the good things and only complain when something isn't working properly. Thanks SysOpt. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
