I just put a 128M chip in and emptied my Startup folder, but it still takes a minute or so for the system to boot up. Are there any other settings I need to adjust to optimize my ram. I have a AMDK62 350 MH and 160M RAM with a 4Gig hard drive.

A minute or so is pretty good.

You could Start >Run >msconfig >Startup(tab) and uncheck things you don't want running in the background after startup.
