new mobo, old parts, no cd, help!!!

took my replaced AT mobo with 300 celeron and rebuilt my daughters 100 pentium, her 1.25 fireball from a compaq, her a drive and cd rom. Had it up and running with conflicts all over so I reset the board still with problems. Was never able to access drive to reinstall OS. As a last resort I formatted the HD and tried full reinstall to original condition, still no d drive. So I took my cd rom and switched with hers and STILL no d drive. At least with mine it spun a little when I hit reinstall and just stopped. Any takers?

Take a look at this link. It will get your install to run. Just pick up from where you stopped or start over and follow the instructions. You can also download the Win 95 start-up disk and the cdrom start-up disk from this location.
