any input is appreciated

I got one of the XP Sybex books and did not like it that much. It was not too bad it just seemed that they took a 2000 book and did a find replace 2000 to XP.
I have the XP Meyers book that is alot more interesting, less dry.

Yea I have to agree with wallijonn, one customer an admin was getting called at home at 3 in the morning, dealing with networking blows, if you can skirt it do it or else make your money and get out.

I find that if you can, take a college course or a college night course. Sometimes, there is no substitute for a good, long learning process.
With my college diploma and 2 MCPs under my belt, work is challenging but not hard, and it's rewarding at that.

Michael Meyers is the main guy for writing CompTIA books, as has been said before. I'm just agreeing with you and also making this my 1000th post.
hey, I'm an ultimate member.
woohoo!
